The Task Force shall hold its first meeting within sixty (60) days of the filing of this order. The Task Force shall issue a report of its findings and recommendations to the Supreme Court and the General Assembly within one (1) year of the filing of this order.

Function
The Illinois Supreme Court Statutory Court Fees Task Force shall conduct a thorough review of the various statutory fees imposed or assessed on criminal defendants and civil litigants. The Task Force shall also review and study the implementation and impact of the Criminal and Traffic Assessment Act (705 ILCS 135/1-1 et seq.) and Section 27.1 b of the Clerk of Courts Act (705 ILCS 105/27.1 b), including the associated Supreme Court Rules and Administrative Orders on civil and criminal assessments
